The first in my patchwork wooden structures, State of Mind was a major departure from previous construction techniques. While searching for a way to move my ideas from paper to reality without the aid of a large open space I began focusing on context. Prior this work many of my monochromatic sculptures sat directly on floor or wall creating an issue with scale.
