Working with a limited material supply allows for me to focus heavily on form and design, without getting caught up in material choice. For the Typewriter Series I limited myself to an old typewriter given to me by a friend, and a pile of parquet floor damaged in recent flood. Working over the course of a week I produced nearly a dozen small sculptures exploring a similar tower form. These pieces range from 6" to 10" and mostly remained unpainted.
